162 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "Whisper"

Inspired by ben croshaw's point 'n' click horror adventure games, i decided i'd try and see if i can make my own creepy whispers using audacity. This is basically some whispered lines and some really low-volume screams superimposed on one another, with some of these lines reversed. I made this on march 2012 and was recorded on my netbook's slightly damaged built-in mic.

This was created with paul's extreme sound stretch program, my voice, and audacity. I whispered a couple of times into the microphone and slowed it down a good bit in paul's stretch program. Recording from a concert. A full choir and small orchestra, plus 100 audience members. The performers sat down between movements and all took a drink of water. The audience did too, and some light whispering occurred. Stereo recording at 24bit and 96khz.

I was in the church of angoulème (f) when to my delight organ practise begun. Quality is not extremely good but the ambience is nicely catched imho. Anyone who knows the organ work, i'd like to know!.

A calm yet scary male voice asking if you have ever wondered what its like to kill a man.

Ghostly hiss using my voice edited with reverbs and echoes. Typical sound effect for horror soundscapes in movies, haunted houses, escape rooms. . . This sound has been used for the first time in the escape room "la cabaña" ("the cabin") of escapop. I recorded it in 24-bit wav, and didn't want to process the sound (it would inevitably add some noise and distortion) - this way we minimize the amount of processing, and we can keep highest possible quality. Simply normalize it/turn it up as you wish in your daw or audio editor. Or do not if you don't need to.

I won't claim that this is a ghost as i am sure many would debunk, only that i believe it to be. This is an evp i found during playback for something else i recorded in audacity with a usb condenser mic. This happens a lot and i have quite a few. It sounds to me like a voice that is not mine is saying "watch" i cleaned it up as much as i could but this was barely audible originally so i had to bring up the volume a lot which made the noise floor pretty loud. I did some noise reduction to make it sound cleaner. I have personally had experiences that i believe to be supernatural but decide for yourself as you listen or use it as make believe. I have more i will upload when i can including ones from places that have been researched and said to be haunted (taken on my phone). I have to find them but as i come across them or new ones i will share. No need to credit me, i am just sharing this for fun.
