This sound was created in audition by using three sample tracks with altered pitches for the sound of the timer countdown. I used an altered 8 bit sample for the explosion, bringing out the low range and lowering the high range with a 30 band compressor.

This is a sample of howling wind created in logic pro x using a few of choruses, flangers and fm synthesis. It isn’t the most realistic recreation of wind, but i think it’s a great layer to put under actual wind recordings. This is also suitable for horror:esc sounds.
Finger snap: in the sound a crisp finger snap is heard with multiple snaps in the sound. Some snaps occur simultaneously. Recorded using the zoomh4n and using the rode ntg1 condenser shotgun microphone. No processing was done to this sound. The fingers used to create the snaps were those of a female.

Created a loop in audacity by hitting an old coca cola collectors glass with a spoon in several locations, altering the pitch of these sounds, and applying them in a rhythmic fashion. Ended up with a kinda creepy march-like sound.

I took an rca to 1/8 inch cable and plugged it into my sound card input. The sound is created by sticking the two rca plug ends to a 9 volt battery's + and - terminals. . . I don't know if the noise comes from the battery or the computer, though.
