A section of the recording at https://freesound. Org/people/nlux/sounds/620955/ re-purposed for use in the makenoise morphagene eurorack synthesizer module. A high-pitched, metal windchime, sent through some granular processing software. The reel is divided into two, long halves: one with the sound playing forwards and one with it playing in reverse. This means i can easily switch from forward to reverse without tuning issues, simply by applying cv to the morphagene's 'slide' control.

Created by kimathi moore for use in the make noise morphagene. “the sounds i've tried sound very good for the morphagene i hope, and are very personal to me. That was bound to happen, they're now like new creatures to me, listening to them over and over again has made them very endearing to me. I also added my frame drums which i thought would be a good addition, sound tools, heater, julie gillum's woodstove, and a small minimalist piano composition. . In addition to the roster 2 of them are from liz lang, whom i wanted to include here as she was my sound/composition mentor. ”.

I decided to bring my wind chimes inside and recorded them with an mxl 910 microphone into my computer using a focusrite scarlett 18i20 interface with the gain turned up a bit. I then chopped 15 samples i liked from the entire recording and formatted them into a make noise morphagene reel containing 15 splices. I am very pleased with the results, especially when patched into clouds or using an eventide space pedal for example. Enjoy!.

Formatted for use in the makenoise morphagene eurorack module. These live acoustic recordings i made with a sony pcm m10 around my house / farm in thailand. They concentrate on the percussive hits, scrapes, cuts, frogs, insects, water wells, metal farm things, gongs, railings, fans, crushed snail shells, creaks, dogs, drips and clicks. Useful for musique concrete artists. Https://www. Instagram. Com/p/cczmpenh1n0/?igshid=13qsz9itlxntphttps://www. Instagram. Com/p/cfb6blvhexl/?igshid=b35rj1fju85rfor morphagene users, just rename the wav file "mg1" for it to be seen. The wav file can be used in any sampler but you may not see any of the morphagene slice points - so you need to slice manually. I record music as "mudlogger" using buchla easel/200e, serge 4u and eurorack instruments and as "hoan kiem chess team" using ciat lonbarde instruments. Https://mudlogger. Bandcamp.
